Michael Wimberly's Progression Thread —THE GREAT SPRINT EVENT MARATHON

Quick tengyun 2x2 review!!1!111!!!1!1!1!!one11!!!

It is a little slow, but very smooth and stable. Screws are loose, but the springs that were already in it were very tight, which made a very unique feeling that was very flexible but stable at the same time. Corner cutting is amazing, and magnets are moderate strength.

Edit: I cleaned it out, put in the weaker springs, and lubed it with XMT 10 and it’s amazing

So, when I locked in on 4x4 practice I dropped my average from over 2 minutes to 1:20 in a little less than a month. So I know that I can really improve on an event if I lock in. Which event should I lock in on next? I'm thinking of either 2x2, Skewb, or Pyraminx, but I plan on dedicating at least a month on each of these.

Pyraminx cuz it’s easy to improve on.
