Is the MGC 5x5 a good one to begin with to learn 5x5?

I main the MGC 5x5, it's a really good puzzle. It was a little slow ootb though, would definitely recommend lubing it.

I’ve used the mgc for like 2 or 3 years (something like that). And it’s been the best 5x5 I’ve ever had

My MGC was fantastic ootb, with barely any set up needed. Would definitely recommend for beginners, although the Meilong M is also a very good underrated option as well.

same with me, my first 5x5 is a MoYu Meilong; MGC my first magnetic 5x5, just got it for Christmas. as far as setup goes, the Meilong is lubed with SCS Galaxy, and MGC with SCS Martian

The MCG was way better than my previous YJ. Brought down my average by nearly 10%.
