MGC 4x4 Squeaking after lubing

Does the third drop matter that much or is this satire and I'm being dumb?
I was just meaning that you did not use the proper amount
Also how should I apply lube to springs, because that seems to be the fix.
For that question, use a silicone lube, I use a weighted lube but nebula, galaxy, cosmos, lunar, martian, silk, mystic will all work

yeah these

Which one would be best? And do I disassemble the cube to do it?

Alright so looks like I'll use galaxy, do I need to dissamble and wipe down the core?

Alright so I just put 2 drops of galaxy on the 2 screws that seem to be affected, I'll post updates.

Update: One of the centers stopped squeaking,
Just another question, does one more drop of lube over the said amount make that much of a difference?

Alright, so its back where I was 30 minutes ago, and I'm pretty close to disassembling and wiping the whole cube down.

Update: Squeaking is faint, but still there, I'll wipe down the cube after my upcoming competition.

Take a screw out, put a drop on the screw under the head at the top of the spring and another drop at the bottom of the spring, because those 2 places is where the spring rubs. The top of the spring rubs against the bottom of the screw head, and the bottom of the spring rubs against plastic. That's where it'll make noise from. Replace screw. Repeat 5 more times.

Just got back from competition, will try out UncleFrank's idea tomorrow morning!

So
Take a screw out, put a drop on the screw under the head at the top of the spring and another drop at the bottom of the spring, because those 2 places is where the spring rubs.
So I did this, all the squeaking is gone except the red side if I turn slowly, but no squeaking if I turn it fast, which only confuses me more. But I’ll consider this fixed until something else happens. Thanks for all your help!
