Hey guys, only a couple days ago i was made known if this technique to improve timing, mainly on F2L using a metronome!

http://www.metronomeonline.com/

At first i thought it would be a piece of cake but it's harder than it seems. I think this will greatly help me with my look-ahead. I was wondering if any of you use this tool or a smilar one and tell me what pulse/beat/whatever it is you can successfully solve at without missing a beat/pulse. Right now i'm barely getting 44 done properly

Please use the search function before posting... I just searched metronomeonline and got 10 results. Even more if I just search metronome.

Anyway, using it is definantly a great way to improve lookahead.

he asked at what beat people use it.

Oh i've seen other post but no one mentioned what beat they move to.

I guess specificaly what i want to know is what can other cubers handle + ur cubing arverages, it will give me something to compare myself too. I got a feeling my F2L will BOOST with this!

It's a good tool. I'll definitely use it - looking ahead is one of my weakest points. As for your request, like I said 72 (didn't try higher, but it seemed ok), and my average is about 20 seconds.

I decided to start from the lowest beats then work my way up and can reach 160 beats. I didn't think I was that good so I did an average of F2L and got 10.85 so just from working my way up the ladder I improved a couple seconds.

It's an interesting trainging, but you should understand that these solves don't represent the ideal pace at all...

Maybe you noticed that it's hard to do the transistion from the cross to the 1st pair, but finding the 2nd pair is easier, and the last 2 pairs are usually a piece of cake.. That's why in a really solve, you can gradually speed up, and still look ahead very well.
