Meta in other communities

So recently, this thread got me thinking about what the differences are between the points of view of English speaking community and other cubing communities.

I know there are a few people from those communities and I was wondering if there's anything different like stressing certain methods over others, new methods, other parts of the solve being more important to them.

So what's it like there?

Well, like the ZZ method was created in the polish community and took a while to go through other communities so I was just wondering if anything like that came along or perhaps if other communities still place even more emphasis on CFOP as the "best" method than in the English speaking community.

It was kind of left intentionally vague because it can be just a really large, broad overview of what other communities are doing
