Hello, I know how to solve a megaminx sorta but its really inefficient and I wanna start from scratch. I wanna learn from scratch the speedsolving method for megaminx so just pretend right now that I know nothing about megaminx. What tips, basics, video, or just anything in general that I should do? What order should I learn these things?

just try to solve it like a 3x3. Try to improvise on the last layer and do the beginner's method to finish off.
What would you suggest I should do to avoid looking around for pieces alot and solving the secondary f2l pairs faster

well it depends on ur main method for 3x3
if u use CFOP id say either Westlund or the Yu Da-Hyun methods are both good, theyre essentially the same thing
if u use roux use the balint method cause its basically just blockbuilding
as a zz solver, ZZ-Spike is a holy underrated method for ZZ on mega, if u use ZZ definitely try it out
if u use petrus theres something wrong with u

jk lol
