55.43, 55.02, 51.88+, 1:01.72, 50.16 = 54.11

With this average I am still 2nd in the world, just with a better time
Average would've been 53.54 without the +2 but I don't really care

This was my best average of the competition (the other one was 54.68, which had the WR single).

The two 55s were pretty standard, OK times, then the 49 would've been good, an OK solve with a really nice PLL.. 1:01 was just in frustration I guess and the last solve was good, but I really wanted sub-50 so I was pretty pissed about that one two

Sorry about the quality.. camera is not awesome and it had to go through an editing program and stuff..

Is this what you do after solve the first layer (star + 5 slots):
Put it 2 edges, solve the 3 slots. Put in 1 edge, solve the 2 slots. Put in 1 edge, solve the 2 slots. Put in 1 edge and put the pair next to it. Solve final 2 slots?

That's how I solved it at first, without a tutorial (and still do). I think that's the idea most of us get at first. As soon as we see an empty F2L slot, we have to fill it in

yep, pretty much.. but I don't have a fixed slot to start with on any side (including the last S2L side). I just try to do the easiest one first
