Just got the Moyu WRM v10, did a 3BLD attempt and DNFed a 2:15.98 by an exec error…still don’t have a sub-3 success yet…

Just did my first multi-blind attempt…1/2 in 14 min. The second cube was off by two twisted edges (forgot to memorize NT)

I’m planning on doing a 6-cube attempt for my comp in a few weeks though!

New cubes came in, the Qiyi Warrior 6x6 is absolutely INSANE for only $17…
Also my cubes fit nicely in my new case:

Updated goals for the comp:
3x3: sub-15 single, sub-18 average, make second round
2x2: sub-3 single, sub-4.5 average, I’d like to make finals
4x4: sub-1:05 single, sub-1:10 average, make second round
5x5: sub-2:30 single, prob not making 2:15 cutoff (if I do, then, get PR average)
6x6: sub-7 single
7x7 sub-12 single
3BLD: The organizers still haven’t changed the cumulative time limits with the change to bo5, hopefully they will bc I don’t think I can average sub-3 well enough (and in finals I gotta be sub-2…) but sub-3 single, get an ao5, make finals
FMC: not run out of time…, sub-40 single, get a mean
Mega: sub-2:40 single, not making cutoff
Skewb: sub-5 single, sub-7 average, make second round and finals
Sq-1: sub-25 single, sub-30 average, I’d like to make finals but my PB ao5 places 9th (top 8 move on and I’m not even close to 8th) but maybe one of those 8 won’t be there or mess up rly bad lol
4BLD: get a success (~20 min)
5BLD: get a success (~35 min?)
MBLD: get at least 4/6, I want to get 6/6

Super excited for this comp, after this one I’ll have competed in all WCA events except clock

Finally, after 11 sub-3 DNFs (one of them being sub-2…), I got my first sub-3 3BLD single in the weekly comp. I got two of them actually, the better one being a new PB single of 2:46.83!

I also got a PB sq-1 average of 25.35!

And in 6x6, I absolutely smashed my PB single and got my first mo3! 5:16.86 single and 5:54.15 mo3!

I also updated my PB sheet with official PRs, globals and mains, and my upcoming comps

Well, my competition is this weekend.
I feel very prepared for all 14 events.
Just one problem.
The weather is supposed to be super bad this weekend, and if the roads are icy, we aren’t gonna be able to go

Just trusting that God has a plan in all of this

Well the chances of me getting to go to the comp at all are almost zero. I was really looking forward to this comp as it was 2 days and had 14 events, but the weather is predicted to be too bad to make it work. There’s still a chance I guess that it doesn’t get cold but it’d take a miracle.

Well, they sent out an email saying that the comp would still go on, but they are allowing 50% refunds if you can’t make it due to weather

I am so happy right now. They just announced that they are postponing the competition! Date hasn’t been announced yet, but now there’s at least a chance. I knew God had a plan in all this!
