Mastered F2L, 4-Look OLL/PLL but average 90 seconds

My opinion on CN:

Sure, many of the top guys aren't color neutral. But would they not be a tiny bit faster if they had been CN?

I think the point of looking at people like Cornelius Dieckmann is to show that there is no reason to switch to CN, once you're already fast, as it is really too much effort for a pretty small overall gain.

But now that you can become CN with less effort why not? Sure, you can be fast without CN, but I think it definitely gives an advantage. Why choose the slower option?

Anyway, I would definitely recommend OP to become color neutral. I don't see the problem with starting now. You should probably switch before you get too used to non-CN.

Probably won't help your F2L much though right now. But what's the rush? Just practise. It takes time to get used to F2L

I know he's obviously new here and doesn't know where everything is. That's why I posted the thread that answers his questions.

Telling people to use Roux is some horrible advice. I am a CFOP solver and avg 14 sec, and I am not a Roux solver. Mats valk uses CFOP. Cornelius Dieckmann has a sub 8 avg12 solving just CFOP and still you want to use Roux? Why? I guess that why you dont improve, because you recognition is not proper, you get confused with colours.
Wattt?
When did I say to learn ROux, I myself dont know much about Roux. And I use CFOP as main. I dont get confused with colours as I just solve white, so I know what colours are there. And was it meant for me? or PJK? I just stated that you dont need to be colour neutral to be fast, indirectly.

I get confused with colors because I have a color vision deficiency.
Feliks Zemdegs has a sub 6 Ao5 and sub 7 ao100 and he's CN
The cubers who podiumed at US Nationals 2014 (3x3) were all CN(Collin Burns,Feliks Zemdegs,Rowe Hessler).
Mats Valk's WR has an OLL Skip, Feliks's 5.66 is fullstep.
Your last line makes me want to solve only blue and green.
Why do I want to be CN?
Because of Faz,Collin,Rowe and Robert Yau.
If they can be CN, so can I.
"It is our choices who make who we are, and not our qualities"
Nice Quotes. I dont follow other, I am inspired by others. There is a diffrece. And Mats did not get an OLL skip, he forced it. He got OLL skip because of VLS!

Your post inspired me a lot! I think I am gonna practice Green and Red cross from tomorrow. Then after I master white, green and red, I will do the other colours. Thanks for opening my eyes to colour neutrality!

You "just stated that you dont need to be colour neutral to be fast"? What happened to "That is some horrible advice" when someone suggested him learning to be CN? It's easier to learn colour neutrality earlier on, so advising him to become CN is good. Your post suggested colour neutrality was a bad thing, because most fast cubers aren't CN, when one of the fastest cubers in the world is colour neutral. Notice how my post is just yours, copied+pasted, and the bits about colour neutrality changed to stuff about Roux, as I'm trying to show that your argument isn't very good. You're saying that something that most fast cubers don't use must not be best, when actually that isn't true.

Do every EPLL with <M,U>. Do every OLL case with the corners oriented with <M,U>. Do other OLLs with M moves when you can. Or better yet, use CFCE or Roux.

Worrying about the aesthetics of your solve really won't help you get faster... I hope you don't do any of this stuff just because you think Roux looks cool.
