Yeah everyone seems to cheat at home. He is using a box, which is good. Most people don't even do that at home. Like here or here and even here. Still +2ing every solve for hand on box, which is far more time than he gained, would average 23.87; that is looney.

My point was that if the point of the box is to simulate competition conditions, then he should've started every solve with both hands flat and somewhat away from the box like a stackmat timer. Otherwise, it's no different from me, Kaijun or anyone else starting with their hand on top.

So before you can boast a fast average with box and random orientation, should your hands should be at least placed flat as though you were using a stackmat timer?

Were talking like .3 of a second difference at most.... I don't think that would really taint the average at all or make people react any differently to his time.
