Maru 4x4 assembly

For what ever reason, I cannot, for the life of me, assemble a maru 4x4. I've tried for many hours now and I just cannot do it. I've searched and searched and haven't found a tutorial that is in English. I was thinking of sending the peices to somebody and having them build it and send it back. If you could do this message me. I am desperate.

I was smart enough not disassemble it completely. I was told it's a v-cube with edges already glued (Like the mod), so I would assume you would begin assembling from there, then assemble the innermech, The the exterior pieces?

I didn't dissasemble it. I noticed that the edges were popping out, which I found unusual, so I took out one edge and it kind of fell apart

If they're popping out, let them pop out. My maru 4x4 has only popped once, and I've had it since nationals.

Can't you just assemble it like a V-Cube 6?

I looked at that, and the pictures pretty much show what i acheived, then a finished cube. Nothing in between

just follow pictures, it's kinda the same step over and over.
