how could i make a chinese megaminx better? i already lubed it but what could i do to make it better?

Take off the center cap and loosen the screw. Use a tack to pry the center tile off.

okay i got them off now and loosened them up but how could i prevent lock ups?

If you take it apart you can see these bumps on the corners. Sand those off.

Yes those 3 bumps on each side of the corner (on the inside). You see that's how the minx locks in place. Sand them and it won't do that.

my megaminx is like perfect and I have only lubed it and used it alot, I never take out the center caps and I can do sub-90 easily. Just use it alot

i sanded down the bumbs on one of mine , it still has a little bit of the locking left, and the locking is pretty good , i reccomend lubing it , playing around with the screws a little bit and sand the sharp places of the pieces .
if you sand the bumps on the corners it will just get more lockups.

I completely agree with Laetitia! I tried your minx at the Danish Open 2009 and it was a lot better than mine
Although mine is still really good compared to people who just say "it sucks, I'll just buy another one". Just use it a lot and it can be just as good as any other minx! Just look at the WR single holder.. he uses "the worst kind of Chinaminx"Similar threads
