Make a crazy 3x3x2 move freely?

Is there a way to make the center circle on a crazy 3x3x2 move freely on both sides at once? ether together or independently from each other? In other words the center circle has one corner that stops one side ether the top face or bottom face from moving when you make a u turn or d turn. I don't want that to happen. I'd like to be able to move them just by turning them my self instead of the side cubies turning them. I think you guys know what I mean. Can I mod it to do that?

There's nothing I can sand down to make the center circle move freely?

There is a piece that connects one corner piece to the core, remove that piece. That will make the two circles move freely. The two circles can not be turned independent of each other, without heavily modding the puzzle that is.
But why would you want to do this? It makes the puzzle way too easy to solve.

Because that's what I thought I was buying when I bought it is there anyway someone can post a picture of this piece that I have to remove?
