magic8 scrambled :(

1) managed to get my magic8 back to a rectangle, and it moves normally, but the image is scrambled..like instead of 3 rings on one of the sides, it's scrambled rings..

2) a string just cam out and now 1 of the sides can be moved, although it's not supposed to..

anyone have any ideas? :confused:

now I've placed the string where it's supposed to be, but how do you join the 2 ends of the string?
