Hi,
In magic you are always allowed to do a few warm-up solves on the stage timer after the judge called you, it's commonly known I think.
I noticed a lot of cubers, (especially the hungarian guys) don't only solve it before the competition solves but sometimes do like: solve, then 5 non-official solves, then say ok and do the 2nd official solve of the avg, then do another 10 non-official solves (not using the timer though, only pressing it very short so it doesn't start).
I wonder if this is allowed, it seems quite strange to me. I know it's ok to flatten your magic or like: make a ring out of it and stretch the strings back in good position again, but this is kinda weird and very time consuming (if everybody would do this of course ;) ).
Just wondering :)

i've done one/two unofficial solves between my official ones. i think the judge just asked if i wanted to... so i said why not. just as well as one was a DNF and the other was a very bad time! as long as there is so confusion between whether it is an official solve or not, i can't really see the harm in it tbh.
