Lubricating a Dayan Guhong?

I just received my Dayan Guhong (a lovely christmas present) and I started playing around with it. It really didn't turn well at all (decent turning, I'm exaggerating). I ordered it from Amazon.com and I believe it's pre-lubed. If I re-lubricate it with silicone spray will I in some way ruin it? I'm very nooby so, bear with me.

Actually, you won't. You can't remove a thread.

Lubricate it with CRC Heavy Duty Silicone if you're going to.
OR, if you can, lube it with Jigaloo, maru Lube, or Lubix!!
