Lubes for my Cubes

Just want to see if I have this right, or if there any other better options, which is agreed on. Or maybe some cubers have better suggestions for me.

From looking around, I've found these to be the lubes to use on the certain cube.

-Alpha V (moded to Haiyan Memory): CRC
-DaYan GuHong: Maru Lube
-FII: Lubix Cube

If anyone wants to add what they believe to be better, or if I got them wrong or switched up, it would help.

Also, I know this may sound weird, but what about "sexual purpose 100% silicone lubricants?" I know someone who uses this, and he said he doesn't ever have a problem with it, and makes his cube quite fast. Said that he needs to re-apply about once a week. I haven't tried it out, or tried his cube out, but just wondering what other cubers think about this option?

Well, I suppose the sex lube would be less likely to damage your cube than any of the others- there are no solvents in it, of course. There are some harsh chemicals in CRC.
However, many people use each of the three you have, and many love each. You're not going to find a clear consensus from anyone.
Generally, the information the cubing community has on lubricants is anecdotal, as far as performance goes. Some people have done tests, but even then, the judgment of lubricants is subjective, and it's hard to separate the normal variations in solving time from the differences from using a different lubricants.

As far as I know, CRC, Jig-a-Loo, Maru, etc. all work effectively on most cubes, including those three. CRC and Jig-a-Loo are supposed to be pure silicone, so I don't see why other lubricants that are also pure silicone wouldn't work.

I believe so. I read that Rowe uses shock oil (30) in his FII cube. I am wondering what is the lube they use at the factory for the FII? Outta the box it's smooth and FAST.

Yeah, CRC and Jigaloo both have some nasty chemicals in them. Jigaloo doesn't have any petroleum distillates but it has other industrial solvents in it.

MAI ROO lube works fine for Memory too. My favorite lube is a combo. But mefferts lube and mix with MAI ROO lube. Then put Vaseline in cube for one week. Nothing else. Clean out, apply jigaloo for a day, then clean again. Finally but in meferts / MAI ROO lube in. If you have an f2, I hear jsk comes with lube?

for fII i changed the core for a c4y core it it become amazingly faster than with the FII core but after that i add maru lube and i thing that i cant find any other FII better than mine because its too smooth and i just had poped it once in 2 months . so i prefer maru lube for the FII, the only problem is that it runs out after like 50 solves or a little more.

Prostaff D39 seems to be the only lubricant that works well for the Type FII for me. I basically lubed the springs, screw and core with a small amount of lubix (probably 1/3 of what you'd use for a Dayan cube), then I sprayed D39 on two opposite sides of the cube and worked it in. The same thing seems to work for my Alpha V, but I use more lubix, and less D39.

You can buy D39 at lightake.com and 51morefun.com. I'm sure you can get it on amazon.com too, but I'm not sure. I only used lubix on my Guhong.

Edit: Sorry, didn't check the date on the thread.
