Hi, im from Australia. I have a 3x3 store bought rubiks brand cube. My cube is only about 2 weeks old, never been lubed yet. It has gotten pretty slow and locks up often. Since im in Australia you cannot buy jigaloo. Does anyone know were you can get heavy duty silicon ? Im not allowed to buy online either and have been told not to use vacaline.

Thanks :)

Yep
Silicone works really well.
Some Destroy your cube Best is CRC808 which is a bit expensive ($17).

What city are you in? If in Melbourne. Feel free to attend meetups.

Im a beginner to be honest, i still only use begginner methods. Pretty hard to go further with a slow cube.

Ill get my dad to take a look in bunnings.

If you want a DIY, and live in Meloburne or Sydney, you could attend meetups and ask people to buy the cubes for you, and then you pay them back.

Shock oil and silicone spray are both liquids.

Sorry to go off topic but has anyone noticed their silicone "boiling" then you spray it into your cube? I have this one brand that I use and it says "dry type".

When I spray it, it cracks and hisses and if you look closely there are bubbles frothing out of it. Kinda strange...

Throw it into the pit, its evil.

What do you mean you aren't allowed to buy online?

And have you looked into maybe graphite?

Jig-a-loo you can find it at any hardware store in your area *Corny salesman grin*
