Lube is running out REALLY FAST

So basically what happens is I lube the cube either at home or school and take it out of my bag at the other one and maybe it's just me but it feels like it's scratchier than it was an hour ago. I don't mean really scratchy or really slow but I feel like it's noticeable. Maybe it's because of the cold?

2 or 3. Usually DNM but sometimes cubicle weight 5.

I put my cubes under the boxes the come in to keep the lube from drying out.
