I just got another storebought today to give it a shot, and it's pretty good. The only problem is the red and green sides are much tighter than the others--almost as bad as a "bad" storebought. Is there a way I can make it more even without Jig-a-Loo, sand, or massive amounts of breaking in? (I can do these if necessary, but I'd like to avoid it.)

Why would you avoid jig-a-loo? You don't want to lube your puzzle?

yea just jig-a-loo it and itll be good to go.....i got pissed when i tried to solve my RAs storebought and just walked back into my room grabbed my jig-a-loo and lubed it a bit....the change was ridiculous....went from full hand turns to average finger trick turns

Well I've heard Jig-a-Loo can do bad things to storeboughts. I don't know how accurate that is personally, but it sounds like you believe otherwise?

I'll just go for it.
