Loose tension on Shengshou 2x2x2

Hello guys, I found this problem to be quite annoying on my 2x2x2. No matter how much I try to tighten the green side, the face just stays loose and won't tighten up. Are there any ways that I can fix this? Thanks.

get a different cube? Thats what I did. I only had the thing for a few weeks before I got tired of it (I tried messing with tensions as well) and gave it to my two year old. I got a cyclone boys 2x2 and like it a lot.
