Hey guys, i recently asked a question on the "One answer BLD Thread" about how to stay motivated towards BLD (MBLD/just single). One of the responses i got was "Find someone your speed to race with"... I love this idea!! So my question, Is anyone of my 3 BLD Speed wanting to 'Race' in a non-competitive but still motivational manner? Usually I get about 3:25.xx on average for a single BLD, i have not done enough MultiBLD to give a reasonable statistic. I am also currently switching towards 3-style.

~ Thanks :D

Brilliant! Would enjoy to do this race type thing with me?

Yeah, I think so. I currently use OP/M2, and I don't plan on learning anything better in the near future, but I think I should be able to reach around 2:00-2:30 within a year by just practicing what I do.

How good are you with multi and big?

multi - I only have 4 3x3's that i can bear to use, i can do a 4/4 in 38 minutes.
big - i have never learned anything bigger, i believe i should be able to do a 4BLD though.

I have had an idea about the format we should do this, so then anyone can join in on the race, we could either provide lets say 5 scrambles, i would be happy too do that, and then put out times up so then we can see both accuracy and speed. Or we could just blindsolve, keep track of our solves throughout the day then post what we have done... Or both, I will most likely be providing videos of my solves. But should it be a daily, 3 days or a weekly updating race?

I have done about 15 4BLD attempts, but only got 2 successes. Mainly because I have a huge chance of doing a small mistake. My last attempt were 33 minutes DNF with 2 swapped centers.

Sounds a lot like the weekly blindfold race, which I already participate in. Otherwise, I think weekly is good.
