Woah! Congrats, that's a huge milestone to be broken in megaminx.

He could potentially even be better than Juan, because in his recent two comps all his averages were sub-33, while Juan rarely gets sub-33 averages. However that might be luck though.

Nah, 3 28s, 30 and 33 isn't luck. But holy cow, that's amazing!

How did Leandro improve so fast though... He's only been to 10 comps, and he's already world-class. Look at how long it took Juan to be world-class, 4 to 5 years.

An Argentine broke the world record in Megaminx: he put together a 12-sided cube in less than 30 seconds

Argentine Leandro Martin Lopez broke the world record in Megaminxa 12-sided cube, when completed in 29.27 seconds. The 22-year-old displaced the Peruvian Juan Pablo Huanqui, who had done it in 30.39 seconds. Martín is a professional competitor in the discipline and came with good records in the...

"Next month he should compete in the South American championship in Brazil, but he is not sure yet because he does not have the money. “I’m going to try to make a world record, but I don’t have any tickets because I don’t have enough money”, counted. Those who want to make a donation so that he can travel can do so at the following CBU: 011004023000418957751."

Not sure if the CBU (single banking code) will really direct to him, so its up to your judgement if its fake or real

Im pretty sure there are cube stores and brands willing to sponsor him but still, just putting it up here to get more attention from the community

If you look closely, he made a turn during inspection of his first solve. I don't know if this was intentional or just because of picking up the cube (or dodecahedron), but if that solve does get DNF'ed, the average would be 30.89 and only WR2.

It's doesnt look intentional, and I dont even think he noticed it.
