just got my best time 2:08

LOL!!! That's fantastic!! I don't have to ruin a cube just to find out what someone else already knows. Thanks for the link. That was good!

I still think you should spend some $$ on cubesmith textured tiles and regular stickers, so you know the difference versus your smooth tiles. I never bought from cubes4you yet -- are the center caps secure like for Puzzleproz cubes? Or do they fall off real easy like those from Rubiks.com? I hope somebody can let me know.

From experience I can highly recommend *against* using graphite. I practically ruined one storebought with it, it took months of wear after switching back to silicone before it stopped completely sucking.

*You should use CRC Heavy Duty Silicone Spray*. Yes, you can find it at most hardware stores. When you sanded the cube, what did you use to sand it? At the end you SHOULD use steel wool, that will make the pieces SUPER smooth. Yeah, new store bought cubes aren't that good. They will get better after several weeks of use.

Why, I know everyone goes on and on about CRC Heavy, but it's not the only thing that works, I prefer 808 actually.

I also agree with brunson, I wrecked my 25th anniversary cube and also wrecked 3 pencils :(

On a final note, I would also reccomend gettin the plastic razor blade, makes everything easier.
