I was wondering how to lube it. It's mefferts, if that helps, and I've don about 10 solves with it, maybe a couple more. Tips?

Would you lube a 3x3 after only 10 solves? Break it in.

And then just pop out an edge, spray some in, and scramble and solve a couple times. Exactly the same as a 3x3.

lubing is not very important for a mefferts. change the springs, that is what will make the difference. there is a guide for this on stefan's website. I used springs from ballpoint pens that I cut to the same length as the original springs.

Yes, I lube them as soon as I get them. I don't know anything about this "breaking it in." I played with unlubed cubes for the first year of my cubing, except just one spray at a competition. The cubes do not get better over time (well, maybe a really stiff one gets acceptable in at least 5 month of intense cubing, but that happens whether you lube it or not.) You might as well as lube immediately, which is what I do now that I actually have lube.

I don't think lubing can hurt, I don't know if it would decrease your times.
