You can’t say that this isn’t biased towards Roux:

Quotes From the Best:
“I use CFOP for 3x3 solving because it's the first method I learned, and I've practiced very much with it, and I think at this point there is no point in switching methods unless there is a major breakthrough ultra amazing method.” - Antoine Cantin
“For 2 Handed solving, I think that something like roux would probably be faster than CFOP since there are almost no rotations and your moves are very quickly reduced to (R, U, r, M, F) which can be very fast to execute. Also, the move count is generally lower.” - Antoine Cantin
“Don't give up understanding and optimizing your F2L (or any other part of the solve) by trying out new stuff or doing research. Find out your weaknesses and try to improve them the most. PRACTICE” - Antoine Cantin
It is biased, but I think it is annoying that Owen angried Gen's post that mentioned roux and ZZ as potential methods @J41 could learn

Hi all! This community looks excellent - really happy to be here.

I've been cubing very casually with very basic methods since about 2010, but have taken more of an interest in it in the last month or so. I have reduced my 3x3 PB from 35.07 to 27.97 in the last week, which I'm pretty proud of despite it being absolutely nothing to write home about around these parts!

I'm still new to a lot of the terminology and the like, so I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, learning lots, and hopefully contributing where I can. :)

EDIT: Mistyped PB!
Just a very short update about a year after posting this.

Still using beginner method - have made practically zero progress on CFOP - but have reduced PB to 13.50, which I'm happy about (from 35.07 a bit over a year ago). Got a 13.64 or something the other day, too, so feel like I'm close to breaking that.

I'm looking for a thread where you can rank your 3x3s in order of preference, and perhaps update the rankings when you change your mind/change set-up of the puzzles/acquire new puzzles etc. Does such a thread exist currently? Don't want to duplicate - I had a quick look but couldn't quite find the most relevant existing thread.

If there's not something like that currently, might set one up - I like ranking puzzles!
