Me and Bill on Global TV's "The Morning Show"!

Too bad the guy from the promoter company made us use the crappy Rubik's Brand... :p

That's unfortunate. :/ I don't see any logic behind that decision - it just shows how bad the new Rubik's Speedcube is and embarrasses you guys. The almost all of other Canadian TV networks that were promoting the new Rubik's Speedcube let the cubers use their mains for a demonstration.

Well, it's not the first time Global TV "messed up" a cubing segment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juyNYPi9TNw

It's honestly not that bad if some time is spent using the screwdriver and lube to prepare it.

Perhaps one of the networks could pre-record a cuber using the screwdriver/lube to prepare them as an intro...

Tim.

I agree, although this was not the fault of Global's people, it was the representative for the PR company hired by Rubik's who was there to "help" this morning. But, instead he made it so Bill and I had to use the Rubik's Brand...

The cube we used wasn't even the tension-able speedcube version, it still had rivets.
