Here is the information for what I believe is the third version of our NCAA men's basketball tournament bracket challenge. I hope many people contribute their selections because the bigger the group is, the more fun and competitive it can be. If you are unfamiliar with the tournament or even the sport (for example I know many non-American cubers don't see basketball on a regular basis) it is still fun to root for a bracket. Knowledge of the teams is not usually all that helpful (and at times is laughably detrimental) because of the insanity aptly named "March Madness."
The point system has been changed from the Yahoo! standard, which starts with 1 point and doubles with each successive round. This system placed an enormous emphasis on the final game and very little on the early rounds. I have reduced this slightly by configuring our point system with Fibonacci's sequence, starting with 2. The point totals, in case you are unfamiliar with the sequence, will be 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, and 21 for each game in the six rounds, respectively.
The first four "play-in" games are not recorded. Brackets must be submitted by 12:15pm EDT (-5:00 GMT) on Thursday, March 21st.
You can click on the proceeding link to join or search the Yahoo! Fantasy Sports pages with Group ID# 137110. The password is "cubing."

Good luck!
