Here is new progression thread, and yeah.


so today I did alot of 3x3 solves but I kinda am averaging a lot slower but hope to get ao100 back to sub15. Here is the t8mes for 2day

Also it’s worth pointing out that I must suck at getting singles; when I was practicing and was averaging sub-15, my latest 300 solves (roughly when I began averaging solidly sub-15) have two sub-10s and two 10s. In addition to doing hundreds of solves in the course of a few days, you’re also getting way better singles than I did while also averaging higher.

Wow that’s a very high variance in average. Why do you think it’s so much higher than every other cuber I’ve heard of?

The reconstruction of the solve that @JDAW6 sent was 52 moves, however I highly doubt that this is his average movecount. I looked at the video he sent, and his average movecount looked to be around 70-75. If we say he averages 15, this gives us an average TPS of around 4-5.

Ik that these are all valid arguments, and i get trying to point out cheaters... but dont be too harsh on anyone. If you have a valid argument, great! I'd say go for it, mention it. As a community, it's our obligation to keep ourselves honest. But be respectful at the same time, as we have no way of knowing backgrounds or circumstances. That being said, i am not defending Jdaw6, and i am not calling him a cheater. Just trying to state a point.
