Hey

I am brand new to these forums and have only been cubing for 1 week, I am 16 years old and live in Newcastle England!! I also have one question to ask you guys/girls!

Since I have only been cubing for 1 week and only know the beginners method I would like to know when it is right to move on to a "speedcubing" method like roux or CFOP? Is it when I feel comfortable with myself to move on or when I hit a certin time?

Any response would be grealy appreciated!

Welcome!

Answer: First get really comfortable with your beginner method and build up some cube sense. Then, it's whenever you start to feel like it's routine, or you feel curious.

Happy cubing!

Hello... I'm English as well, one of few Londoners...
The time is right NOW! Youre interested in speedcubig so why not dive into the deep end and try the 'big five' speedcubing methods?
Need any help feel free to PM me. Except for ZZ :)

cool :D my mum was there not long ago. I live in Shiremoor which is somewhere on the metro map.. Never had another cuber so close before :p More on topic, I don't think there's a wrong time to move onto an advanced method. They will seem really hard at first but you just have to get used to them then your times will drop quickly. The method though is totally up to you.
