Well, I've been cubing for almost 3 weeks (19 days to be precise) and I can't seem to get speed. The problem is, this doesn't make any sense to me.
As you can see from my signature, I'm using a fairly quick intermediate-level method. I have a lubed type-A cube, use finger tricks, and know quite a few quick algorithms. My average is about 1:20, PB is 1:13. This seems incredibly slow to me. I have friends who can get quicker times on a non-lubed storebought with no finger tricks using the beginner's method. How is this? I'm obviously using a mroe efficient method, I'm using a better cube and I'm turning it faster than they are. Can anyone figure out why I'm so slow?
