Imagine a cube that generates electricity

I had this weird brain fart today.

A dedicated cuber spends at LEAST 3-4 hours cubing, a day. What if there was a cube that generates electricity for every spin you do? We'd create lots of electricity cubing for hours a day.

Would that be possible? :p
Did someone ever think of the idea?

I guess I'm off applying for a patent. :p

There was already a thread about an article about this idea. I did the math (and although there were mistakes, my answer should not be off by more than one order of magnitude) and the power generated is not feasible.

Oh, I'm too late. Didn't know there was already a thread on this, sorry and thanks. :D

And don't cubers spend ages trying to find lubes that make it turn with less effort - not more?
