I use Lin, I am somewhat a beginner (35 global, 12 single) but I think it is a good method. you can get fast with few algs, but @Sub1Hour will certainly say you don't need many algs w/ vandenbergh either

If all you’re going for is sub-15 or even 10 Lin should be fine.

What do you average right now? I'm assuming you use Vandenburgh since no one really uses anything aside from that or Lin anymore. Honestly switching might not even be worth it if you are already pretty close.

Vandenburgh is really nice IMO (at least I think I use vandenburgh, its cube shape, pieces on correct face, pieces permuted, parity if necessary)
