HahaWelcome to the forums, although this thread has basically became a 2x2 tutorial thread
I use a more advanced method called ortega:What are your steps for solving the 2x2? Mine are:
Step 1: find the white pieces with orange and green and put them on top with the main piece and then put the final white on top all of them using R’ D R D’.
Step 2: making sure only one or four corners are correct by turning and if that doesnt work i use U R U’ L U R’ U’.
Step 3: finishing the yellow side by turning it upside down and fixing the yellow using R U R’ U’ and then i do the final turn.
Extra: Sometimes step 3 is not needed. In step 3 the yellow has to be in the bottom right corner. In step 2 i use the algorithm also to correct all 4 corners. In step 1 all pieces use the algorithm.
thats common, just put it back in like a puzzle piece.Guys i broke my cube
sub-7 ortegaI actually find LBL works better than Ortega for me, I average 6s on 2x2 btw
