I want to be faster on clock

Good tutorial -
(and get the .pdf linked in the video description)

If you need more, get his advanced clock tutorial video, too. (and another .pdf with it)

The best method for you right now would be the flip method (cross on 1 side then on other said then corners) and you can switch if you want but you dont even have to (wr single and avg before tommy cherry was with flip)
oh i use flip i just didnt know it was called that

Use flip until you get to 6-8 seconds before you even start to consider a different method, learn the common edge and corner skips, If I could go back and improve one thing it would be using pinkies for the bottom dials sooner.

Do you use a fixed pin order? That's covered in the video I linked above.
Then use his advanced video that covers things like orientation neutral (12 o'clock can face any direction at the start and end of the solve), dial skips, and lookahead. If you're using a QiYi clock, he also has a video on how to setup and lube it, which can also help.

Ryan Michael Breen’s (elephant cuber) setup tutorial is better. You can do the tape mod as well if you want. Then do a bunch of solves. I got sub-13 in my first 3 days of doing clock and that’s mostly from just doing solves.

i have the shengshou magnetic clock

A couple years ago I tried out speedsolving clock to see if I liked it (no). Within one day I could get sub-20 just by practicing with a junky Lingao that I set up.

My clock was used and when I got it the clock was gritty to turn. I cracked open the casing with a knife (based off of your forum activity I would recommend having a parent do this for you as it's easy to let the knife slip), clean the clock, and lubricate it with heavy silicone lubricants. I used Adheron Heavy but any heavy lube will work (Cubicle weight 5, Traxxas 50k, etc.). After it's setup, put it back together and apply the tape of your choice (I used silver foil tape) along the seems to prevent the clock from falling apart upon a touch.

With a Sengso all this setup is unnecessary for sub-20. Just practice.
