Hello from Australia! :) I have been cubing since December last year and even though people regard me as a derpy person with the memory of a potato, I somehow gained interest in BLD solving, in fact, I achieved my first BLD solve when I was still ~1 min and I eventually learnt CFOP a month or two afterwards. Typically, I average around 25 seconds for 3x3 and 1:45-2:30 for BLD (although I can be rather inconsistent with success rates). I would describe myself as being antisocial, cheerful, and stoic and my other interests aside from cubing consist of playing the violin, piano (the asian instruments), watching anime, chess, basketball, sleeping in, aaaaaand I swear I have more interests but I can't remember >.< I know all PLLs except E, N and G perms and well, I have a limited selection of something like a 1/6 the OLLs. Also, I have a pretty bad rotation-filled F2L. I cut my time down from 30s-45s down to 20s-30s by solving the cube untimed every now and then while browsing the web without learning any new algorithms.
I am terrible with introductions and I don't know what else to write so here's a list of some PBs:

Single/Avg of 5 (Avg of 3)
2x2 1.22/4.04
3x3 19.11/23.05
3BLD 1:33.65[35]/(1:36.50[39])
MBLD 13:29.91[9:17] 3/3

(Square brackets represent memo time)

Oh yeah, I also attended Melbourne Cube Day yesterday :)

like that one time I wanted to get food and stopped at the fridge in my kitchen and completely forgot I was hungry in the first place >.<

That's just the reinstatement effect.
You're pretty good at BLD. High-five for getting triple DNFs for BLD at your first competition. You're still a lot faster than me at BLD; guess I ought to actually practice. What method do you use(buffers?)? How high/low is your success rate? Do you do BigBLD? Welcome to the forums. I'm still very much a lurker here, but I do comment once in a blue moon.

I don't know how to memorise pieces and how long does it take you to memorise?

He did state it in the original post.

Just use letter pairs. They are the best for BLD for now, especially for 3-style.

I use M2 for edges and OP for corners, so DF and UBL stickers for buffers respectively. On goods days, I have around 75-85% accuracy but sometimes I can't even succeed after 5 attempts in a row. I can bigBLD although I'm not as interested in it compared to 3BLD and MBLD. I think I had a 4BLD success on my second attempt that took an hour and a half from a while ago and a ~1 hour 5BLD solve that ended up being a DNF by a single twisted edge >.< And yeah, I made some really stupid mistakes at the comp.
