The black timers are cheaper than the usual ones because they have less features, like no connector for the competition display... so you can't use it with CCT I'm afraid.

omfg i would have bought a qj timer if i knew that... also the shipping was rigged on the blue ones so they said it weighed 1 kg, and the shipping was very high... maybe it ships in a box , or something? damn... just when i thought i was going to get a really cheap stayckmat... :fp

As for OP, whenever I find myself looking at suspiciously cheap items from China I just assume it's fake by default. That being said, timers aren't exactly new and exciting technology so I'm sure that if it's fake it's still as good as the real thing (other than the butthurt you will have to endure from other cubers who look down upon KO's.)

If by trustworthy, you mean that they don't scam, then CFOP is a legit site. I haven't bought anything from CFOP but Sarah bought from them.

As for the timer, you'll probably just have to buy it to see
