Hello everyone,
First of all I want to thank everyone for being a great cubing community. For the past 4 years that I’ve been on this site, I’ve enjoyed getting to know many of you and getting to talk about whatever it may be and help each other progress in speed cubing. When I first joined the forums in 2022, these forums were all about having fun, encouraging others, and the cubing community as a whole was a very welcoming place. Ever since 2023, that has not been the case. There has been a lot of bullying on these forums and also a lot of hatred and negativity, leading to more permanent bans than I’d like to admit. I’ve had to ignore more members on this forum than I’d like to admit because of this negativity and overall turnover in how I view this site. The decision to leave the forums seems like the best move for me right now because I have tried in many instances to resolve conflict and to keep arguments to a minimum and it has not worked at all.
I will still be cubing so if anyone wants to chat with me, my discord is isaiahscott2009. I hope everyone continues to do well but I have to admit, this is a broken site and I do not regret my decision to leave.
