Huge mail day. Some from SCS, some from The Cubicle, a few vintage ones from eBay and the last two V-Cube items I needed for the collection (the sphere and 9x9) .

Couldn't resist the Tony Fisher 'ball in a cube' and started playing with it right away. That's a really neat twisty puzzle. So far I did all the 3x3's and the Vintage Rubiks (minus the one in sealed package). The 3x3x7, and the 9x9. The two Moyu RS3M's I got free for ordering and will be giving those out to friends of mine that I've gotten into cubing recently. They're using non-magnetic Qiyi Warrior type cubes and could use an upgrade.

This Rubiks sphere hasn't shown up yet. I'm very excited to see this in person. (auction photo)

These two I bought for the superficial reason of "quite frankly they're beautiful",.. I do plan on learning to solve them but mostly I just thought they were amazing looking cubes.

This is my biggest mail day. Lots of really neat stuff and a few things I've wanted for quite a while, like the vintage Rubiks in a sealed package.

Happy Cubing!

Incredible buy. The curvy copter is a very fun puzzle and solvable intuitively but not trivial. There's a thread on it where I posted some of my algs

Nice I may have to look that up. Thanks.

Is the V-sphere a three-dimensional sliding puzzle (like the 15-puzzle)?

it is but I requested the additional (missing) blue tile when I ordered it and they sent it to me with the Sphere, so I could snap it in and instead of sliding the tiles I can now rotate the entire rings of tiles.

I tend to collect.... stuff..

finally solved it after months of having it halfway done. I was going about it the wrong way, trying to solve it like a Megaminx. Once I started thinking of it as a 5x5 or 7x7 it made more sense. Don't do it layer by layer from the bottom up; do the centers, then pair the edges, then reduce it to a megaminx,.. then solve it.

very cool puzzle. Onto the Teraminx and maybe next month I'll get the Shengshou Petaminx (I already blew my cubing budget for the month, lol)
