How to sub 10?

Time to redeem myself;

Last time I checked Antoinecantin had the best time for PLL time attack; He also has a youtubechannel with his PLL-fingertricks. You might want to check that out

This might still be a bit too advanced but you could try out and figure COLL for the harder OLL cases, or atleast try and figure out how the OLL algorithm you are using for that specific case affects the edges. This would help to predict the PLL a bunch.

Here is the video where Felik's goes through predicting OLL with the last F2L

Here's the clip with a trick to insert 2 F2L pairs (just 1 case but might help)

Slow motion videos are very helpful to analyze your solves, e.g., where are the pauses, how long they are, how fast was the case recognition, or your F2L or LL needs more improvement. Look up what should be the break down for sub-10 (like, F2L-LL = 6-4? Or 7-3?), and compare it to your break down. A bit of free-style F2L could also help. And don't worry about your times during the solving, relax, and enjoy the cubing for itself. It helps a lot.

Most of us can't even sub 1 all OLLs and PLLs. I think something like sub 1.5 constantly should be enough.

I think a big thing for sub 10 solves is planning how to solve your cross and 1st pair. You don't have to be that move efficient but being able to solve your cross and at least the first pair can really boost your times IMO. Try your best to track your 1st pair whilst you are solving your cross. If you're having trouble doing that, then I suggest that you turn a bit slower during cross. Focus more on getting smoother solves. Turning speed doesn't matter that much IMO because I believe that it will increase naturally simply with more practice.

i think this is a good thing youve pointed out that im lacking. my cross + F2L1 transition is terrible. i can probably sub 1.5 my algs with a bit more practice. Cheers!

Explain to me how exactly one gets qualified to give advice on cubing? We are not back 10000 years where the eldest of the tribe taught everyone else to eat and take a crap.
It's a thing called the internet. I have eyes, I can read, I can filter information and then share it through this so called internet to others. If you're insecure about giving advice because you feel like you dont know enough, then dont, but dont come to bash any other attempts of trying to be helpful. I suppose its the OP's decision to decide whether he likes or dislikes my advice.

You are not even trying to help here.

He was giving you a compliment the first time, if you aren't aware..

Read further down.

OT: IF you wanna get sub10, hit other barriers first. To go from sub15 to sub10, your average TPS will have to increase by two. While it seems like it's "only five seconds", you have to increase your skills to a level like going from sub30 to sub15; it'll take a while.
