Well,

What times are you getting?
What Megaminx are you using?
How long have you had one?
What method do you use?
Why do I have to ask these questions?

Just practice. And get a better understanding of your color scheme, knowing exactly the relative position of the colors and which pieces are needed at which moment is of much help.

I think your making a lot of useless threads , you should look around first, almost everything you ask is on the web, just google it

I have checked tirelessly all over the web. I'm desperate!!If the thread is useless ( or so you think it is ,)then ignore it I'm new in this community so I don' t know much about what you guys talk about.

6-7 minutes.PVC modified megaminx.a few weeks(just started).Erik Akkersdijk's method.

I am using a "new megaminx" from cube 4 you. I have lubed it and sanded a little bit. I am using a "dan brownish" method and I am getting 3-4 minutes. I have had it since june, so I think you need to practice.

I also need to know how to solve faster. I know exactly how to, and it doesn't lock up that much, but its mostly the F2L type things, where you pair a corner and an edge together. I learned how to solve a 3x3 with Dan Brown's YouTube video, and its a great video, I also used his 4x4 video, but he doesn't teach F2L, and I kind of regret not learning that first, instead of trying to learn it now. Because I don't really have too much motivation for it, IDK why. I just play around with it until I get them paired, but it takes so long. And it doesn't help that my hands get really sweaty when I do my Megaminx. And its hard to hold it because each face isn't that tall. I never really timed it, but it takes about 10 minutes, maybe more. Does anyone know how I could improve my speed?

Practice it will surely go down. I get about 4:30-5:00mins and I use a Chinaminx, full hand for rotations and a method created by myself (slow method :?)...

I have been minxing quite fanaticly since november with Chinaminx:(
and I average 2:20.
I use Erik's method as well. First I solved by block building (intuitive) and with some practise I was about 9 minutes. I learned Erik's method and I was instantly around 5 minutes. I've been practising a lot and now I average 2:20. Just have patience and your times will drop quickly.
