HOw to solve 5x5x5?

Well I didn't say that you have to solve a 4x4. It's the same exact method for both cubes. The thing is, you have to think when solving bigcubes. It's not like on the 3x3, where you see a pattern, and then apply a move. You have to logically move things, and be aware of what you're doing. I bet that if you stopped asking for a spoonfed solution and just tried to think about what you are doing, then you could maybe solve it. You really need to think about what you are doing...

Hmmm, okay, I kinda think that way, I can solved the edges of blue-red, blue-orange, blue-yellow, blue white, the blue sides, and all 3x3x3 centres. I am now looking for the way to solved the edges of the sides, if you turn the blue sides that I solved upside down. Therefore, I need algoritms for edges of yellow-orange, yellow-red, red-white, white-orange. Could you help me? Or it it another intuitive solving.

Thanks and oh, I learned the method to solve 4x4x4 in youtube by pogobat. I hope it is enough

What?

I don't think it's too hard. You just need to line up 9 same color blocks on each side, to make a center. Then you pair up the edges so 3 edges are together oriented. The you solve like 3x3, and if you have to, do the parity cases. It shouldn't take you more than 45 minutes to figure it out by yourself. I just figured out how to solve a 4x4, looked at some tutorials, and solved it in like 30 minutes :D. It wasn't really that hard. Now I can solve it in 5 minutes :). Just use logic, as big cubes don't have too many algorithms.

Okay I've read your post over again and I think you're solved all of the centers and edges, except the last set of edges. There are algorithms for the last set, and they are here. After that, solve the cube like it was a 3x3 (3 edges on a 5x5 = one edge on a 3x3), do the parity algorithms, and you've solved the cube!

Well, okay, so, to solve the cube like 3x3x3, can I use pjk's?

And I read the guide already, the problem is that the algs are for edges in correct position and when I looked in my cube I don't have one. Am I supposed to use another intuition?

Or, I looked into youtube's videos how to solve 4x4x4, in the videos, the solve the edges but did not put them in their correct places, they use 3x3x3 algoritms. Is that it?

Thanks

Yes of course, any 3x3x3 method will work. If you look closely, once the centers are solved and the edges are paired, the cube literally is a 3x3x3, just make sure you only turn the outer layers.

Ok, someone said that the method to solve align the edges is exactly like 4x4x4.

And, I learned how to solve it and alakazam, I solve it. Thanks everybody
