Hello everyone!
This is a setup tutorial for the Valk 2M 2x2.
This setup will make the cube SO much better than before.
anyway, here is the setup:
Step 1:
Find either the extra springs that came in the box, or you can use the medium length extra springs that come with the YJ MGC 2x2.
Step 2:
Take apart the cube.
Step 3:
Clean the cube.
All you need is a spray bottle and a towel, and that should do the work.
Step 4:
Losen all the screws until they come off.
Set the screws and springs aside, as well as the white pieces that came off.
Step 5:
Take an extra Valk 2M spring or a YJ MGC 2x2 medium length extra spring (either one will work for this) and put it underneath a screw.
Then, put the screw and the spring on top of the white piece.
Insert the screw back in and tighten.
Repeat this for all 6 sides of the cube.
Step 6:
Reassemble the cube. Make sure the pieces are dry.
Step 7:
Once the cube is reassembled, tighten each until you can no longer tighten it anymore.
Step 8:
Pick any side, and losen that sides's screw by two 360 degree turns.
Repeat this for all sides.
Step 9:
Lube the cube with any non-silicone based lube that speeds up the cube.
Do NOT use silicone or a lube that is intended to slow down the cube.
That is it!
This setup is really good, and it makes the cube become a lot faster, and a lot smoother.
