How to set up certain situations to help me memorize algs?

why is doing hte algorithm backwards annoying? i learned full OLL in 2 months doing the algorithm backwards. it is very fast, effective, and also includes a LL skip

Just do the alg a few times, it will eventually set itself up. Or you can do it intuitively, it's pretty easy on 2x2.

If you know what alg you're executing already then why do you need to set it up? Just keep doing it over and over from a solved state. It'll eventually go back to a solved state and you'll know you did it right anyway.

I think you'll just have to deal with just going through the motions...it's the quickest way to memo.

usually just doing it will get it into ur head, and when u get to the step u wont even remember the algorithm, u will just know what to do...Also try looking for patterns to help

This. If you keep practicing the alg, you'll eventually remember it through muscle memory. It probably wouldn't help your recognition time though.

Yeah, I just do the same ones over and over again. It's handy because sometimes you can learn two at once if the reverse is one of the oll cases you're trying to learn. I mean, you'll have to learn it eventually...

though to be honest, up on the podium stage thing was the first time id ever even attempted a 2x2x2
