How to open my Eastsheen 2x2

my friend recently brought me 2 eastsheen 2x2 from taiwan, and i want to try to mod/spray, the cube(s), but how do i open it ?

i know on youtube huskyomega said to break the "hook" but i dont really see anything, so any help would be appreciated. thanks

I lubed my Eastsheen the lazy way, I did a 1/2 quarter turn (as you would do when you want to take out an edge on a 3x3), then I sprayed lots of lube in(because the majority of it will spill out), and played with the 2x2 for a bit, to get the lube around. Then , I just let the cube sit for a while, let the lubricant "sink in".

Tip: because of the spilling and leaking, it's best to do this over a sink.

Yes that right, do as Jai told. The risk of breaking it while dis-assembling or even assembling it back together is large
But I belive I only sprayed a tiny bit of silicon in mine and it spins like crazy, did that about 2 years ago and have never done it since

thanks for the responses, but i also want to clean it, it has seem to have collected quite a bit of dust...

I tried googling "disassemble eastsheen 2x2", and all I got was disassembly of an eastsheen 5x5...
Try water... use my "lazy lubing" instructions to put some water in , and then cube to get the water around.
Note: I am note responsible for damage to your Eastsheen. XD

Don't lube your 2x2, it pops, yes pops!!!!
If it is for exploration, try to cut a corner and mash the cube with your hands while insane corner cutting, it's internal mech will get out of alignment and you can take it apart.
