How do you join WCA, so you like get a WCA id, sign in at the homepage, show up in the records and persons pages, that stuff?

Go to a competition....
Btw, isn't this also something for the Beginners section?

When you go to a WCA competition, you will automatically be a member of the WCA, and you will get your own profile.

To sign in at the home page, you have to register. Click here to register for the forums (and home page).

By the way, there was already a thread on this:

As said above, you need to go to a competition because the lists at WCA are competition results only. If you like to post the times you do at home and compare to others, then the unofficial lists at Speedcubing.com is the place.
