[Help Thread] How to fix a sandy cube

I dropped my cube down a sand dune earlier (not joking), and as you may guess, it got sand in it. What should I do? Should I lube it, or wash it, or something else? Help pls

I would suggest taking it apart, wiping every piece very thoroughly with a dry paper towel, and unscrewing all the screws to wipe the hardware as well. Reassemble, and lube it. If it still sucks, then that's your problem from there.

Yeah I agree
If your cube can't feel good after cleaning it, getting a new cube might be the best option.
I know this since I also accidently put sand in my cube
I cleaned it pretty hard and I think that it turns pretty good now.
