i have a pretty hard time breaking the 25 second barrier. i have 28 second average....

i use the fridrich method i'm currently using the 2 look oll, and i memorized quite a few plls. almost all of them. oh and is there a way to recognize plls faster>>>?? im guessing just by practice,.

There's no such barrier. The simple solution is always practice.

o ic wat are the barriers??

Those 2 posts made me laugh. There are no restricted "barriers".

You haven't given any information about your solving technique, what algorithms you have learnt, or a breakdown. I'm not helping you.

I'm currently getting high 24's to low 26's. I found it hard to get down to 25 from where you are. Continue to learn the PLL's and execute them on all the sides of the cube so you have an idea what they will look like when them come up. Also, start learning some of the OLL's if you can. and yeah. practice DOES makes perfect. :)

Practice. Obviously, practice.

Of course, the question is then WHAT to practice specifically; just doing the cube over and over won't get you results in the same amount of time as working on the weakest aspects of your cubing. I can tell you that personally, when I was around 25 seconds, I needed to learn to look ahead and get a smoother F2L. This is always a good thing to work on but may or may not be a good fit for you. One nice idea is to time your steps individually, then check the resulting times against those posted in the many threads on this forum.

dont just blind practise. when i was ardd your timing took me about 3 weeks to get to sub25. my problem lies mainly on f2l. for f2l what i always do is when im inserting 1 pair, i rmbr exactly where is that pair so i can insert without looking and while doing that i can try to find another pair

hope this helps

As KConny said, go slow and reduce pauses.
Also you may want to have a look at some other PLLs that accur often and learn them. The faster recognition comes with more training...

Also there are maybe just barriers... but to break 16.82 is a bit harder to break then 34.19....
