How to be sub1

Hi all,
i started practising with megaminx the 27th april 2011 and now i'm on 1:30.
Like a month ago i was on 1:25 with my mf8, but now i changed to a moddedo mefferts qith mf8 tiles, but mi times don't get better.
I know about 40-50 plls.
Have you got general tips??
What should i learn?

Take a break for a day or two, practice other things, watch advanced tutorials for improving. then practice.

i practice all days and when i took a break my times passed from 1:25 to 1:30

Take a break from timing and focus on your solve. If you don't worry about the timer, then I guarentee you will get a better time.

I average 1:45 and I know 4 PLLs and a comutator...

How many OLLs do you know?

i know all the edges olls all corner olls and some other...like 10-15

My megaminx cant be fingertricked, and cannot cornercut (mf8 v2 tiled) do I loosen it?

Maybe but not too loose. Try to mod it and lube it with silicone it helps! breaking in could help too
