How Do I Solve This Cube?

I've never done a Rubik's cube before. The pieces on this Rubik's cube go in a certain 3x3 position instead of color placement anywhere. Ex: you can get the opposite sides swapped accidentally and the Rubik's is wrong. Attached are the pictures of the Rubik's cube. How should I begin, or should I first start with just learning color placement, without adhering to the cube face pattern?

Can't find another one of these on the web because it was given out at a conference, but I'm sure there are similars. Thanks.

@Revinous:

The colour scheme seems to be different, but that won't be an issue.

Take a look at all of the 6 center pieces and note their colours. You don't have to worry about the patterns.

Then, google a tutorial. While following the tutorial, treat your colours like they were standard colours (think of grey to be white etc.

Good luck.

If you want to take up cubing seriously in the future, you should switch to a cube with a standard colour scheme* as soon as possible.

Some algorithms such as EPLLs change centre position

And... That's exactly how void cube parity algorithms work! Some of them only swap the center positions and the others twist them and swap their positions simultaneously.

EDIT: You probably already know about it.
